este post, você já sabia que isto estava por vir! Estou bastante satisfeita com o resultado e cheia de acessórios para complementar meu novo corte de cabelo! Isto não quer dizer, no entanto, que não aprecie as maravilhas dos cabelos longos. Ainda sou apaixonada pelas intrincadas obras de arte que podem ser criadas com cabelos compridos.
Esta semana esbarrei com o penteado da Nicole para seu
casamento com o Andy. Amei tudo em relação a esta fantástica criação da Katie, do
Savvy Salon, em Indianápolis: o intricando trançado assimétrico, a única trançinha na parte de trás e a forma superorgânica como o veu aparece de dentro do coque.
Este penteado lindo e sua relação com o veu também me lembrou da leitora Marlla, que me escreveu pedindo dicas sobre penteados e veus. Sem dar maiores detalhes e estragar a surpresa, o vestido da Marlla é uma obra de arte por si só e acho que, para vestidos como o dela, um veu simples, com menos volume, vindo da parte de baixo ou de dentro do coque cria um bonito efeito. Dá à noiva a chance de usar o veu sem se preocupar com uma possível briga entre acessório e vestido.
I bid farewell to my long hair, Babycakes. If you read
this post, you knew it was coming! I am much pleased with the result and full of new accessories to go with my short do! But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the wonders of long hair. I am still very much in love with the intricate works of art that can be accomplished.
This week I came across Nicole's hairdo for her
wedding to Andy. I loved everything about this exquisite creation by Katie of the
Savvy Salon in Indianapolis: the asymmetrical intricate weaving, the single braid across the back and the organic fashion in which the veil appears from within the bun.
This gorgeous do and its relation with the veil also reminded me of reader Marlla, who wrote asking for tips on hair and veil styling. Without giving out too much and spoiling the surprise, Marlla's dress is a work of art in itself and I find that for such dresses a simple veil with less volume coming from underneath or inside the bun works wonders. It gives the bride a chance of wearing a veil without worrying about it fighting with the dress.
