Babycakes, I am writing from Dubai, where I'll be staying for the next two months, assisting my brother, sister-in-law and nephew/godson while they adapt to the whirlwind of living abroad. I hope to be able to post sometimes while I am here, but I might be away for a few weeks while I get to know the place and help them settle in.

O Jerry Yoon me deixou muda por uns bons cinco minutos e devo dizer que nem mesmo bruxaria muito poderosa para me fazer ficar calada. Este verdadeiro feito foi alcançado pelo imenso talento de Yoon unido ao desejo de Rosann e Josh de contar sua história de uma forma, digamos, mais fabulosa (literalmente, aliás!)

Chapeuzinho Vermelho e seu lobo trabalham no Gaia Online, um mundo virtual de anime. Trazer um conto de fadas para a vida real, portanto, parecia bastante apropriado! A perseguição, neste caso, teve um desfecho muito diferente, resultando num set de modernas e criativas fotos-com-final-feliz prontas para começar uma tendência!

Um superobrigada à Ingrid e ao Jerry por partilharem esta arte conosco aqui hoje!

Jerry Yoon has left me speechless for a good five minutes and, let me tell you, not even powerful witchcraft can make me shut up. This true accomplishment was achieved through Yoon's wicked talent together with Rosann and Josh's desire to tell their story in a more, let's say, fabulous way (quite literally, by the way!)

Little Red Riding Hood and her wolf both work at Gaia Online, an anime-themed virtual world, so bringing a fairytale to real life seemed highly appropriate! The pursuit, in this case, had a very different ending, resulting in a set of modern and creative happy-ever-after-photos ready to set a trend!

O K. e eu amamos esta sessão de noivado clicada pelo Carl Zoch! Ele tem um talento incrível para explorar cada ambiente e suas peculiaridades, achando os ângulos mais interessantes. Cada sessão que ele clica é verdadeiramente singular. Que prazer é poder mostrar seu trabalho aqui hoje.

Ah, você me conhece: "Meu reino por uma caixa de doughnuts da Krispy Kreme!" Adicione a fotografia mágica da Christine e da Vania da Simply Bloom Photography e o resultado é uma sessão de noivado tão doce quanto seus props comestíveis! Mas meus doces favoritos são props que têm real significado para este adorável casal e não há melhor tipo, não é mesmo?

Aqui vai o que a Ashley partilhou com sua dupla de fotógrafas sobre seu primeiro encontro com o Jeff:

Tivemos o pior/melhor primeiro encontro. Tudo deu errado (choveu horrores, fomos parados pela polícia, ele tentou me carregar até a porta, mas escorregou e caiu e me jogou na lama) e, apesar disso tudo, rimos o tempo todo e foi o melhor encontro que eu já tive! Começamos a noite comprando doughnuts e café no Krispy Kreme e apenas passeamos de carro pelo centro da cidade, conversando e apreciando as casas antigas.

É apenas o máximo incorporar elementos importantes de sua história como casal em sua sessão de noivado. No caso da Ashley e do Jeff, foi uma forma fofa de celebrar como tudo começou pouco antes de darem início a uma nova fase de suas vidas!

Muito obrigada à Christine e à Vania da Simply Bloom Photography! Eu amo-amo-amo o trabalho feito por estas duas talentosas fotógrafas e sinto-me privilegiada de partilhá-lo com vocês, Babycakes, hoje! Ah, apesar de residirem nos EUA, a dupla formada por uma alemã e uma italiana está disponível para clicar seu dia em qualquer parte do mundo! Che bello, ja?

Oh, you know me: "My kingdom for a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts!" Add the magical photography of Christine and Vania of Simply Bloom Photography and the result is an engagement session as sweet as its edible props! But my favourite pastry treats are actually meaningful props for this darling couple and there is no better kind, is there?

Here is what Ashley shared with her photographic duo about her and Jeff's first date:

We had the worst/best first date. Everything went wrong (It poured, we got pulled over, he tried to carry me to the door but slipped and fell and threw me in the mud) and yet we laughed the whole time and it was still the best date I had ever been on! We started out the night by getting doughnuts and coffee at Krispy Kreme and just drove around down town talking and looking at the old houses.

Simply awesome, incorporating important elements of your story as a couple to your engagement session. In Ashley and Jeff's case, it was a lovely way to celebrate how it all began right before they start another phase of their lives!

Os noivos, aliás, também atuam no setor de casamento lá na África do Sul: o Riekert é fotógrafo e a Iza, maquiadora.

To round off a great week, I share with you a gorgeous engagement session which enjoys a bit of both bucolic and urban atmospheres, clicked by talented Sybrand Cillié, of South African ProPhotography! The couple, too, work in the wedding industry of South Africa: Riekert is a photographer and Iza, a make-up artist.

A noiva californiana Ann escreveu para o { casando ideias } para partilhar fotos de sua incrível sessão de noivado; um trabalho lindo realizado pelos fotógrafos Michael e Maggie da Forever True Photography! A atmosfera dos anos 70 foi tanto uma homenagem aos pais do casal quanto uma celebração do estilo da Ann e do Noel. Estou mega-ansiosa para ver as fotos de seu casamento, que acontecerá muito em breve no Los Angeles County Arboretum!

California bride Ann wrote to { casando ideias } sharing her amazing engagement session photos; a gorgeous work done by photographers Michael and Maggie, of Forever True Photography! The '70s feel of the entire session was an homage to both of their parents and a celebration of Ann and Noel's own style. I am just dying to see photos of their wedding, which will very soon take place in the Los Angeles County Arboretum!
